On april 28th the celebration of the Ferruccio Lamborghini Anniversary will officially start with a special gala dedicated to Made in Italy

ON APRIL 28th THE CELEBRATION OF THE FERRUCCIO LAMBORGHINI ANNIVERSARY WILL OFFICIALLY START WITH A SPECIAL GALA DEDICATED TO MADE IN ITALY

Among Ferruccio’s centenary celebrations, a glamorous night event will be hosted by the entrepreneur Tonino Lamborghini, heir of the family, with international guests and Italian representatives from the fashion and luxury industry.

April 7th 2016, Argelato (BO), Italy – 2016 is Ferruccio Lamborghini’s year. 100 years ago, the famous genius of mechanics and Italian entrepreneur, Ferruccio, was born in Renazzo di Cento, in the Ferrara province. Ever since the Lamborghini name has been renowned worldwide, as a brand that has outshined in different sectors and as an Italian symbol of high quality and excellence.

To remember the Cavaliere del Lavoro Ferruccio Lamborghini (awarded by the Order Merit for Labour by the President of the Italian Republic), the first of a series of initiatives that will be organized for the ‘Ferruccio Lamborghini Anniversary‘ throughout the 2016 will take place from April 28th to the 30th . Master of ceremonies of this first event is Clarissa Burt, internationally renowned American former supermodel and award-winning actress, and today – among her different interests – women’s advocate, television/video producer, editor, fashion designer.

At the Museum, on April 28th, the exact date of Ferruccio’s birthday anniversary, will take place a special Gala, a real tribute to the ’50s-’60s to remember the years when Ferruccio founded his first company. The glamour of La Dolce Vita will relive thanks to the music of Teo Ciavarella and his band. The Italian poetess Antonella Monti will read some poetries from her new book ‘Miura as Muse’ (Minerva) dedicated to Ferruccio Lamborghini and his creative talent. Moreover, the guests will be delighted by the catwalk of the exclusive collection of the Italian designer Deanna Biagi and the fashion brand Artigiani Jeans, and precious creations of Damiani jewelry at disposal for the ladies to be tried on in a dedicated special lounge. Among the invited guests, some notable people of the Italian high society: artists, musicians, Tv producers and authorities who, like Ferruccio, have had a great impact on the national community and helped to increase the awareness of the made in Italy excellence.

FERRUCCIO LAMBORGHINI MUSEUM
The Museum was conceived and founded by the entrepreneur Tonino Lamborghini, in order to celebrate the genius of his father Ferruccio in the mechanics, engineering, and industrial design sectors. Inaugurated in 2014, the Museum houses all of the industrial production of the engineer honoris causa Ferruccio Lamborghini: from the first Carioca tractor with which he started his industrial group in 1947, moving on to the first track laying tractors, to the 70’s models; from the 350GTV prototype to the 400GT; from the Ferruccio’s own epic MiuraSV to the futuristic Countach; from the Jarama models to the Jalpa prototypes; from the Urraco to the Espada with seagull wing doors that inspired the car of the movie Back to the Future; the 11-time world champion Fast 45 Diablo Class 1 offshore boat 13,5 meters long with Lamborghini engines; an amazing working Lamborghini helicopter with dual controls; Lamborghini burners, heaters, and cooling systems; the famous ‘Barchetta’ built by Ferruccio to compete in the Mille Miglia of 1948; the reconstruction of the first personal office of Ferruccio in Lamborghini Tractors with his personal effects; a space dedicated to other cars and motorcycles of the period during which Ferruccio was creating, but also belonging to the Lamborghini family or to the thousands of people who revolved around him.

A few kilometers from downtown Bologna and in the center of the Motor Valley, the Museum is a space dedicated to the value of memory yet at the same time, forward looking toward innovation and challenge: a journey inside the legend who represents the excellence of Made in Italy.

The Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum is held in a 9000mq Forum that includes a shop with books, accessories and several areas available for events and business meeting.

The Museum is available for guided tours with highly qualified people who guide the visitors inside an expositive area that shows Ferruccio Lamborghini universe and official story. The guides focus the attention on the most important models that helped building the myth of the Bull, describing their design and distinctive technical characteristics. The Museum offers visitors of all ages the possibility to see in detail some special treasures that wrote the history of Italian automotive innovation and design.
