From 5 to 8 June 2025, Modena once again hosts Motor Valley Fest, the open-air celebration of motoring excellence in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. This year, the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in Funo di Argelato joins the event with one of its most significant models, exhibited for the first time: the Urraco.
Conceived by Ferruccio Lamborghini to broaden the marque’s range and deliver a more accessible sports car, the Urraco embodied a revolutionary idea in the early 1970s. Compact, agile and quick, it was designed for everyday use without sacrificing performance or character. Beneath its bonnet, a 2.5-litre V8 generated 220 degrees of horsepower, guaranteeing an exhilarating drive.
Unveiled at the 1970 Turin Motor Show and styled by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, the Urraco captivated with its elegant lines and mid-rear engine layout, which enhanced balance and road-holding. Despite the economic challenges of the 1973 energy crisis, the Urraco earned a place of honor as a symbol of vision and pragmatism.
By taking part in Motor Valley Fest 2025, the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum once again celebrates the genius and heritage of its founder, bringing to Modena not merely a car but an idea of accessible, intelligent sportiness that continues to speak to the present.
It is a tribute to the courage to imagine the future, to the beauty of Italian craftsmanship, and to the timeless passion that has always animated the Lamborghini family. It is an invitation to rediscover Ferruccio’s visionary spirit where it all began – and where it continues under the guidance of Comm. Tonino Lamborghini: in the Land of Motors.
