THE FERRUCCIO LAMBORGHINI MUSEUM IN FUNO AT THE MOTOR VALLEY FAN ZONE ON THE OCCASION OF THE IMOLA GP

The exclusive Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole from the Lamborghini family’s private collection will be on display.

Imola, 16 May 2025 – On the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend in Imola, the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in Funo di Argelato (BO) will take part in the official Motor Valley Fan Zone, bringing one of the most iconic cars on display: the Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole, belonging to the Lamborghini family’s personal collection. An unmissable opportunity for all motoring and automotive design enthusiasts to admire up close a model that has made automotive history, embodying the pioneering vision of Ferruccio Lamborghini and the innovative spirit of Motor Valley.

The Countach 5000 QV (Quattrovalvole), presented in 1985 as the most powerful evolution of the legendary Countach line, is equipped with a 5,187 cm³ V12 engine, capable of delivering 455 hp, with four-valve per cylinder heads. The car reaches a top speed of 298 km/h, making it the highest performing of all Countach versions produced. The wedge-shaped styling designed by Eng. Stanzani and the bodywork designed by Marcello Gandini in 1971 make the Countach an innovative and unique car in every respect.

Its characteristic scissor doors and futuristic lines established it as an absolute symbol of stylistic innovation. The Countach was produced in 2049 units between 1974 and 1990, remaining Lamborghini’s flagship model until the arrival of the Diablo.

With its presence at Imola, the Museum celebrates not only one of the greatest legacies of Italian car design, but also the deep connection with the Motor Valley area, contributing to make the public’s experience during the GP days even more special.
