In a symphony of historic engine roars and timeless design, the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum of Argelato announces its participation in Automotoretrò 2026, the flagship event of vintage motoring held on March 7 and 8 at the Parma exhibition complex, with a preview dedicated to operators on March 6. This 42nd edition, deeply rooted in Emilia-Romagna’s Motor Valley, celebrates over forty years of passion for historic cars and motorcycles across 50,000 sqm of exhibition space, featuring legendary African rallies, ’60s sports cars, and new sections like Vintage Boat for Sale.
A Unique Masterpiece at Center Stage
The star at the Museum’s stand will be Ferruccio Lamborghini’s personal Miura SV, a true one-of-a-kind gem: the only SV in the world equipped with the famous “eyelashes” on the headlights, an exclusive detail paying homage to the founder’s visionary taste. This icon, preserved at the heart of the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum of Argelato, is more than a car—it’s a living fragment of history, witnessing the feats that turned Lamborghini into a synonym for supercars.
Celebrating Two Historic Milestones
2026 is a special year for the Lamborghini family legacy: it marks the 110th anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth (April 28, 1916), the brilliant entrepreneur who transitioned from tractors to road legends, and the 60th anniversary of the Miura’s debut (1966), the world’s first supercar with a mid-transverse engine that redefined speed and style benchmarks. The Museum’s presence at Automotoretrò weaves these anniversaries into the event’s theme—the roar of the 20th century, from Paris-Dakar to ’60s sports cars—offering visitors an thrilling journey through Italian heritage.
Special Event with Tonino Lamborghini
Additionally, on Friday, March 7 at 10:30 AM in the Area Talk of Hall 2, Tonino Lamborghini will join speakers Noah Cooks (F1) and Giampaolo Dallara for the talk “New and Old Generations in Confrontation.” Moderated by Pierluigi Bonora, the discussion promises fascinating insights into the future and past of motoring.
